last episode, Illya aka trash injured Sari 2xs, and assaulted her friend two times...

this episode, just started, assaulted Sari again, and immediately threw her on a bed in a compromising position... noone can defend this trash to me.

the naive Sari said it correctly "you arent seeing me rn" around 7mins... fax, hes trash, he never really cared FOR her, he cared for his desire for her. there is a difference... her best interest was not his interest. This is obsession, control, and lexicon based abused.

Yeahhhhh idrc what his backstory is, hes abused her no less than 3xs.. (havent watched this ep yet bc of the subs)... his lack of awareness and self-righteous is grosse. And Sari's naïveté aids to the problem...

Watch it and you can’t even blame him..his hatred is justified..what the beast have done to him is as cruel as fate can be….the beast kill her mom and talking about sharing half of the body with each other and they literally chewed his little sister alive in front of him when his mother ask him to protect his sister…and yet he can’t do anything…the beast toying and belittle him and ask him to run away as a game…if you in that situation or anyone…pretty sure they’ll suffer severe mental illness and become crazy trauma for life

this show is giving me major "somali and the forest spirit" vibes dude and not in a good way what always pissed me off about it is that the beasts are gleeful manical sadistic pricks in what they do and have done to humans, systemtically hunting them down. killing and eating them often alive, and keep some alive as pets untill they grow bored of them and eat them aswell and scour the planet looking for any that avoided said fate rinse and repeat untill humans are basically extinct but somehow we the viewer are supposed to see it as a morally grey issue cuz "humans kind of brought it on themselves by ignorantly killing beasts out of irational fear 1 too many times"

iam like "no it aint whatever wrong humanity has done has been repayed with a magnitude of factor in the millions and yet somehow iam supposed to empthatize or understand why this old lizard lady hag isnt THAT bad when she gleefully explains how's she's going to butcher and eat a small child in the face of said child that has seeminly no escape? come on dude

same thing here, while the situation isnt exactly the same, its like a second great war ending in human defeat from being the same so, i seriously could not give a crap about the hyena kid jumping in cuz he didnt want his father to die, and illiya was supposed to be the crazy unreasonable 1 for putting down pricks gleefully gloating about how they were gonne eat them alive, something iam sure the kid would have taken part it, but no kid didnt had a problem with that, it becomes a problem when the human didnt just roll over and let them

TLDR version: the "illiya crazy racist" argument doesnt work for me for the same reason the "humans brought it on themselves" shit in "somali and the forest spirit"

The main problem with somali is that the humans in the show are not like humans in real life. Most people wouldn't just murder something for being weird, you know? Now if you make it symbolic then yes, people will lash out at unfamiliar IDEAS and treat people who are different like pariahs, but it's not at the insane homicidal level of the "humans" in somali.

As for the beasts in THIS show, it's not really explained why so many of them are cannibals, but most of the beast townsfolk just seem to be afraid of humans, not raring to eat them. It could be that eating humans (or enemies in general) is a tradition of their warriors, and these warriors might be the type that are equally evil toward fellow beasts as well. It's not like in somali where the "kind old lady" suddenly becomes a psychopath and wants to kill the child she loved and hugged just a minute ago. I mean, she goes from "You're so cute Somali! (hug)" to "Save me Somali's liver!"

seeing the kid made me hesitate on whether the dad deserved to die. then I remembered that they were introduced as literally wanting to eat sari alive. at that point forget about sparing the dad, the kid becomes a bonus objective for completionism.

cap. no hatred is justified. that logic leads to prejudice. treat everyone as an individual. allow THEIR actions to dictate if they are trash or not. he can hate the individuals that did the heinous crimes... but lumping the group together is just lazy, ignorant and leads to many other issues.
